The door is wide open, there’s food in crockpot, dips on the counter and drinks in the cooler in the garage. What? Oh, wait. This isn’t a party that I have to prepare food for? And I don’t have to clean up my house? Even better.
I am joining in the D-Listed blogs, first blog hop. Hoping to invite in a few new friends. So, if this is your first time here, let me tell you a few things about me. I’m just a regular working momma, fumbling my way through my child’s first milestones. I blog about the frustrations that I want to forget, the moments I want to commit to memory and the every day struggles of trying to balance the (adorable!) baby with the (too good for me) husband and the (demanding) job.
Some things about me:
- I can argue both sides of a coin.
- I believe a bad day is best cured by having a beer with a good friend.
- In college, a professor told me there was no way I could graduate a semester early. So, just to prove her wrong, I did. I’m stubborn like that.
- I work best under pressure and tight deadlines. But please don’t tell my boss.
- I take too many pictures. For serious. There are 976 pictures on my camera that need to be downloaded. All but 13 of them are of my daughter. They were all taken in the last 73 days. You do the math.

Hello! I clicked in via D-Listed Moms and I have to say I love your blog. And your daughter….adorable! I read your early morning post and it almost made me cry. I love mornings with my baby boy, that’s when he’s happiest and so much fun to play with.

Your pictures made me think of how i went to clear a few pictures out so i could take one {since it was full} and i accidently deleted all 830 pictures!! lol, so . . . stopping by from blog hop! Can’t wait to read more of your blog!

I found your blog through the D-List Blog Party! I know exactly how you feel about being a full time working mom. It’s hard and some days I just want to scream and there have been days that I didn’t want to go to work and stay home with my girl. But, I have to work. We are a two income family as well and it was a decision I made a long time ago that I was going to be a working mom. It’s tough. But your family is beautiful. I look forward to reading more!

Hopping over from The D-List Blog Party and first, I have to say how much I love your imperfection and willingness to expose yourself as just another mother doing the best you can and having as much fun as possible!!! Too many women out there work too hard at trying to make themselves, their kids, their marriage, and their mothering ability appear perfect, never opening themselves up to criticism in which they could probably learn a thing or two, and all that does is further fester the self-doubt the rest of us have.

I’m guilty of a million pictures of the kid on the camera! But hey, we won’t get these times back so cherish them! I have so many on my computer that I thought I should have deleted but I’m so glad I didn’t– they change so much in such a short amount of time

Hi! I’m stopping by for the party! Hope you’ve been having a great week.
I 100% agree on the bad day and the friend/beer. Sometimes that’s what I miss most about my life before my daughter. Being able to do just that. I love her, but man do I need a cold one with a friend sometimes!
I’m also obsessed with photos. OB SESSED. I sure hope I at least take a couple of photos of my next children!
